Course Overview

The synthesis of complex organic substances (carbohydrates) by green parts of the plants in the presence of
light with the help of CO2 and H2O is called photosynthesis. It can be shown by following equation.
Photosynthesis is anabolic, endothermic and redox process.
Photosynthesis firstly observed in cyanobacteria.
